Extension privacy

Save to Prolifik is operated by Plant science, MB, the operator of Prolifik. This page describes data used by the extension for Chrome and Microsoft Edge. The Prolifik privacy policy covers your account and the web application.
What you choose to save
When you open the extension, it reads the active tab’s URL and title to fill in the capture form. Only when you select Save idea does it send that link, title, your note, the selected brand identifier, and a random request identifier to Prolifik over HTTPS. It does not read page contents, cookies, browsing history, or other tabs. It does not run in the background while you browse.
Your browser connection
A connection code authorizes this browser to save ideas to your account and retrieve your brand names. The code is stored in your browser’s local extension storage and is not synced between browsers. Prolifik stores a hash of the code and connection metadata, including its name, creation, expiry, and last-use dates. Connections expire after 180 days and can be revoked from Ideas at any time.
Drafts and saved ideas
An unfinished capture draft stays in this browser’s local extension storage so it can survive a closed popup or failed request. It is removed after a successful save or when you disconnect this browser. Saved ideas remain private to your Prolifik account. Archiving an idea hides it from the saved list; it does not delete it. Request removal of saved data through Prolifik support using the Feedback page.
Use and sharing
The extension uses this information only to provide idea capture and your connection to Prolifik. It contains no advertising, tracking SDKs, remote executable code, or analytics. We do not sell extension data, use it for advertising, or transfer it for purposes unrelated to this feature. Our hosting providers process it to operate the service. Saving an idea does not send it to an AI provider. If you later choose to generate content in the web app, the Prolifik privacy policy applies to that separate action.
Our use of data collected by the extension complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Contact and controls
Use Ideas to edit or archive saved items and revoke browser connections. Disconnecting within the extension removes the code and local draft from that browser. For privacy questions or deletion requests, contact us through Prolifik Feedback or the contact details in our main privacy policy.
